I've added an extra air-con compressor to use for air. In doing so I relocated the power steering pump, that's been fine so far. The easy option now is to find a replacement belt that is 144 - 145" long which would allow me to use an existing idler pulley mounting point. The longest I can find is 138" used on some 7.3 PSD.
Dual alternator 6.0L is a 133 1/8" belt. I did a quick check and found a 149" 8 rib belt from Dayco, but they do not appear to offer any sizes inbetween 138" and 149"...
I've worked on school bus vans with the carrier ac system that locates a second ac compressor right where you installed yours, they use a custom bracket (looks like a flat plate that can be made up without too much difficulty) to re-locate the idler pulley above the ac compressor to the right a couple of inches and they use a gates belt # K081377. you're install looks great and I hope this helps. Good luck.
