not a problem, unless you like turning. I have a 4" lift with 35" tires, the leaf springs are still a limit to my turning radius. Your adding another inch of tire and reducing the turning radius further. I think you could get them under the body, you'd probably want to put longer snubbers so they don't bend up the body when the suspension compresses though.
I had 36" on a 79 F150 without a lift. The coil springs gave me a decent turn radius, I'd be afraid to loose any more with my 2002 F250.
I Have 35's and don't rub at all. Maybe there is more than a leveling kit on my rig. I looked at the clearance today, it looks like I could handle 2" bigger tires. Maybe seeing is believing
