Both trucks have a rake to them so I recommend comparing the blocks on the rear axle. You may have the F350 4" blocks. If so, then you probably have a 2.5" leveling kit on the front axle. Also compare the front and rear springs by counting the number of springs in the spring pack.
The white truck is mine, i have an air bag system on it, that's why it's higher in the back, what number of springs determine if its a leveling kit, or a lift?
I guess it depends on which leveling kit may be installed on your truck. If your Dad's truck is bone stock, you should be able to determine the differences by doing the comparison.
I guess back to the main question, if I have 35x12.5 tires on it now, and don't rub, could I do some altering to make the 37x13.5 tires fit. I don't wanna lift it any higher, maybe get some spacers for the front bumper?
I'm going to 37x12.50s next which will fit with my 4" lift only because my bumper gives so much room. I may build new hangers to move the front axle forward 3/4" too.
Here is my dad's stock 00' lined up with my 00'. Does mine look just level or lifited?
Here is my '00 with only a leveling kit and 35s...Your's looks to have more in comparison to mine, so 37s could work with minor trimming. I have my bumper shimmed out and did some re-forming of the metal part of the fender opening where it rolls under toward the frame and pulled the plastic liner back about 1 "
