The in cab tank won't hinder the back glass slider. It will hinder moving your seat back a little bit. Also, in cab tanks were mounted to brackets that were spot welded to the cab, so you'll have to make a bracket system for the tank. Curious, why would you want an in cab tank? Most people want to get rid of them.

You'll have to look at getting a tank that fits the 67-72 trucks because I think those are still being made, but for the 73-79 trucks they are no longer made.
The smaller rear under the bed tank would be 19 gallons, so I'm not sure way you'd have a 12 gallon one unless that's aftermarket. You can replace a standard rear 19 gallon tank with up to a 38 gallon tank if you wanted too.
