new truck

I am buying a 79 f250 tonight. It has some rust starting aruond the rear wheel wells. the original contour is there, but there is a hole also. I went and bought some aluminum sheetmetal in a roll from pep boys. it is very easy to bend. what would be a decent way to fix this. I have no problem using bondo. i want the truck to look good but i dont want to sink the money in it for new quarters. the rest of the quarter panels are perfectly straight.

Stop the rust by getting rid of all the loose stuff then slather on any of the "rust stop" products. Then get yourself a nice set of fender flares and walla! Your truck will look rust-free.

i just took the sheetmetal alumin and lumber locked it onto the back where the rust is after spraying it with rust encapsulating paint. Then filled in the rest with bondo. bondos not really that strong so im gonna cover it with some nice fiberglass and resin.
