Insufficient egr flow?
Hi Guys, For about three years now,Ive been getting this code.At first I bought and installed a new EGR valve,and obviously this didnt solve the issue. Had the opportunity today at work to pop the hood,and look around. From what I can readily see,there is a "pipe" running from the EGR to the rear of the Passengers side of the exhaust manifold..Did not see anything going to the drivers side.
With all that being said,Ive been doing some research,and as Im understanding it,the pipe needs to be removed,and cleaned out?
Im sure with 165K miles on it,its plugged to the gills with carbon.Converters recently replaced with Bearriver converters.....
Looks like it(the pipe) may be a B**** to get off,but if thats what it takes to get this code gone im gonna do it.
