I'm gonna finally try to get this done tomorrow. I hope the pipe is long enough. It got cut shorter than it probably shoulda been it is 3 in long. Anything else that I need? Scott, thanks again for the pipe
Hey man if you need any longer pipe, i've still got about 20'' of straight section left from mine. as well as 2 90* pcs. I'm not far from you if you need some and will be at the ETAPS meeting sat.

Thanks ziggy. Don't know if i'll make it to knoxville or not. I've got some long overdue farmwork I need to get done if it doesn't rain. Where is everyone meeting?
Just out of curiosity. I plan on doing the CCV mod in the coming months.
What would be the advantage/disadvantages of bending a pipe from turbo to filter? It would be awful pretty!
Thats what I plan on doing later on, the advantages I could see would be fewer clamps to fool with, and as you mentioned a much cleaner look, and a little smoother airflow. Disads I can think of would be how you bend it and who bends it, to get some of the bends required to clear the CCV cap and other stuff, with most bending equipment you will have to purchase a longer section of pipe than you actually need to be able to make some of the bends. Just something to thing about, but either way, it wont be near as bad as you think.
Cory, who do you know that can bend 4" pipe? I was thinking the same thing, but I don't have any idea who can do it.

Depends on the application, size of pipe, and what angle of bend you are looking for. What do you have in mind man? If there is something I can help you out with just let me know.
I can get stainless from work,Im not sure the wall thickness, its thicker than exhaust pipe. I gave Justin some to do his exhaust on his truck. I may be able to find a big section of it tomorrow. Plus, I think I can also get any angle needed. Like 45,90 Y section that kind of stuff. Just will have to check in the store room at work, and see if I can get out with it...
If you are going to be there sat at the ETAPS meeting, I can take some measurements and what not, I can get you a one piece bent up if you would like, but it would take me a few days to get to it, i've been covered up with work and after work-work, but I can take care of ya man.
