im getting ready to lift my f150 and i bought this kit from my buddy and it is a 4 inch lift and it has everything in it except the for the radius arm drop brackets and axle brackets i heard these are brackets are interchangeable between 4in and 6in kits is this true because i found a bronco at the junkyard with a 6 in lift on it and i was wondering if i could use these brackets off that
Yes I think you are right. The top holes are for 4 inch and the bottom holes are for 6 inch on the axle brackets. The radius brackets are the same i believe? Skyjacker has the beefiest brackets. Just FYI, this is not TTB country and 9 out of 10 will tell you to do a SAS. If I was 20 years younger and had a big garage, I would be 1 of the 9.
Yep......what 351slug said.....mine have two sets of holes.....upper for a 4" lift, and lower for a 6" lift.....
So if I want to go from my 4" lift I have now to a 6", all I need is the 2" longer coils and too drop the axle halves down into the bottom hole in the bracket.
if you look at the brackets in the bottom you can see the two holes.....the smaller bracket on the right is upside down, BTW...
