Hello everyone I have a 99 f350 diesel 4x4 I'm taking an old 6in lift off of it and bringing it back to stock. I have a 2004 f250 4x4 diesel stock track bar bracket to replace the old drop bracket. It bolted to the frame fine but I went to put the track bar back on and it is about a half inch short of lining up with the bolt hole on the bracket. Does the bracket not work with my truck or do I need a adjustable track bar?

Jack the frame up and move the axle over to install the bolt.

 

I believe I put mine together once the truck was on the ground, if yours happens to be already on the ground I guess try what je5 said.
