If I'm not mistaken but the tabs your refering to as "switches," are actually brakets to hold in a fuse...56 was 12v...which used a fuse which set in the back of the switch housing...hope that helps
I am installing my EZWiring harness and have a question about my headlight switch wiring. The switch is shown in my "Changes" section of my Gallery.
I think I know most of the answers but just to be sure I need to know the wiring for the following terminals"
I Instrument lights
R Running lights
H Headlights (goes to dimmer switch)
P Parking lights
D Dome light
B Battery input (hot power)
A ????? could be another power in but not sure - could be for accessory lights (larger truck trailors)
I would also like to know what the two strange terminals are on the end of the switch. Do they plug into something? Dome light fuse -5 amp AGC
There may be a second terminal for power in. If so, it is going to be on the opposite side and one position up from "B"
Well, I thought that since the "Site Work" killed all the pictures in all my posts, I would try to go back and repost the diagram above just for future reference.
OH FOR CRYING OUT LOUD.....
Let me try another one front axel this time"
This is really starting to **** me off! Try one more thing:
It is interesting that I cannot open the links but can go to your gallery and see the pictures just fine. Gremlins I guess!!
Yeah but I don't think you can open the pictures, can you? When I try to edit thm I get the Error Not Found Que again.
Gee maybe I'll end up having to re -download all 150 of them. Fun
Between that and the search function being all messed up, I'm kind of sunk!
What ever they did today, it really screwed things up for me....And they won't be back until monday.
Sad part is they are like this in every post I have done. So all the write ups and instructions - like the ones in the saggy door handle post we did for you - with all those great pictures,,,,,,,, they are gone there too. Now it's pretty much worhtless even if I could find it in the search mess.
No Julie. Your gallery works fine and I can open the pictures just like I always have. Maybe it just does that to the gallery publisher. I get the error messages when I try to open something included in a post.
