I am looking for information regarding my 2005 Explorer Limited sound system. I think I have a Audiophile 6 CD Changer. Does anyone know how I figure that out for sure?
I am planning to replace the OEM speakers. I know there are 4 6x8 speakers in the doors and an 8 inch sub in the rear. Does anyone know if there is a factory amp on this model?
There has been some confusion on how to remove the speakers. A rep from a leading retailer told me that I need to remove the entire door panel. When I looked at my car it seemed that there were factory installed grills over the speaker which could be removed instead of taking the entire door apart. Has anyone changed their speakers in this model?
I would appreciate any information that can be shared.
