bottom line is the 460 is built for power not mileage

You say you are too busy playing sports to get a job and what money you did have went to purchase this truck so my question is who is buying your gas for you now to drive one of the worst vehicles for mpg and why are you not driving something more economical? If your parents are buying your gas will they adopt me and buy my gas also?!!

WOW thats horrible millage, ive got a 76 F250 4x4 460 and its built to 465 hp i get 16mpgs. with a carborator. sorry yours dont do so great. check your O2 sensor maybe u need a new one.
