A Couple of ?????
i have an 82 f100 with a 302 auto and have a couple of questions about it
1. when i start my truck the starter makes a pretty loud high pitch sound while turning is there anything i can do to help this?
2. on my heat control the cable connecting the cable hooked to the hot/cool switch and heater core is broke off at the control box is there any way to fix this or do i just need to get a new cable?
3. does anyone know where i can find some pics or sales brochures for my truck so i can see how it looked from the factory?
3. where can i see what color my paint code is (its got two numbers i guess was a two tone)
4. ive seached for converting it to a 4wd and it seems pretty easy but is there any instructions on this all i found was a whole lot of partial info and what parts can i use from different models (i live about 1.5 miles from the junk yard but they dont have any f100 but they have 40+ f150s and f250s)

1- sounds like a bearing going in starter,i would get a new one
2-need new cable
3-the galeries on this site for pictures, or ebay for brochures
4- not sure ,there is a tag on the drivers door
5- i'll leave that info for some body with knowlege on that task
