Flatbed swap?
Hey all, I know where i can get an original Ford script bed off a 1952 F-2, my question is will this bed fit my 1949 F-3?
It is in pretty decent shape, will need all the wood replaced but other then that it looks fine. If this guy wants to sell what should i ask?

The F-2 and F-3 are basically the same truck, except for a few wheel and minor suspension differences. The frames are the same so they use the same express boxes and flatbed.
I bought are really nice flatbed for my F-4 that had all of the hardware but needing all new wood, for a steal of ,I think, $200 about five years ago. It all depends on how much you want it and how much the seller wants to see it gone. I'd start at $200 and go from there.
