While driving I can feel like it is slipping and shakes a bit when taking off from a stop some times. When I pass 45mph it will start pushing and shaking then I let off the pedal push again, it downshifts and drives fine as long as I stay under 45MPH. This is only going uphill but downhill I don't feel any of this.
Tranny has almost 300k like the engine and never had a problem with it before. I don't want to trow away a good tranny and it turns out it is the TC.
Have the engine scanned, I think you have a miss. This doesn't sound like a trans problem at all.
I have an engine scanner but it doesn't show any problems. I have had the coils go bad before but it doesn't feel like this. I'm not experienced with auto transmissions but this really feels like it is coming from the tranny. What else can I do to check?
I read some people here have a manual to rebuild the e4od tranny's, is it the same for the 4r100 tranny?
Thank You. I see You where a tech at ford. I read about a zip file that explains how to rebuild the e4od, is there something like this for the 4r100? Where can I get it?
I've My getrag 360, is it possible for the home mechanic to rebuild one of this too? any special tools?
