it seems lifting is almost an addiction and most guys end up going bigger after a while.
Yep, I know the feeling. I've had my 79 F250 for 8 years and it has been at three different heights so far, with plans of taller still.......yeah it never ends !!!!
So far I'm satisfied with a leveling kit on the '05, but I'm sure that it'll "grow" as well.
BTW I love the regular cab trucks, they're just old school cool to me !
Jealous? You're truck's a beaut... AND you have a V10.
(You can always install an Icon 4.5" hanger kit...)
Lol Thanks man. I'd love to get mine in the air a little bit and did some research on doing a 4 inch yesterday. I'd have to leave my 32.5 inch Nittos on lol. Should have enough money left from tax man after some repairs/upgrades to get her leveled. So that's what I'll be shootin' for the most in the spring.
I think your truck looks kinda sporty as-is too... did you lower the rear at all? I was pretty sure all '99 SDs used "F350 blocks" and came with quite a bit of rake.
Nope... no lowering done... just major spring sag in the front lol. I do kinda like the sporty look too but sometimes it just looks too damn small ya know? And as far as the blocks go I have the 2" ones stock. After I level the front I'll probably end up putting the 350 blocks in.
