Looks good. Your Excursion is exactly how I want my next Excursion to be if I ever get another one.

How long have you had it?

I got it about 2 months ago. I looked for months before finding this one on craigs list. It was perfect and garage kept. 21k miles when I bought it. Clean OASIS. The third row seat had never even been put in. Never had a hitch in the reciever. Towels covering the floor mats. The previous owner was OCD about taking care of the vehicle. I had to travel from Jacksonville to Miami twice to get it. Worth it though as I am really enjoying this vehicle. I commute 40 miles one way to work and now actually enjoy the drive (and $1.99 diesel btw).

Well, I am making the assumption that you are speaking about my X, since you quoted me.

If you go with Ford OEM 20's, then you'll need spacers. If you go the aftermarket route, then what ever wheels you get, I'm sure the makers of the wheels have ones especially made with the correct backspacing for the X. (I am not sure of the number).

Go with the OEM 20's... Join the "Club".

I need to correct myself. I, too, have aluminum spacers. Not sure why I thought I had steel...

With the factory 20's, the tires look taller, how much does that throw the speedo off?

The 20" tires are about 3" (10%) larger in diameter than the 16" tires. My speedo was almost dead on with the 16" tires, and now the speedo reads under about 10% ... all according to my Garmin GPS. When the speedo says 50 MPH, I'm doing closer to 55. The dealer thinks he can recalibrate it that much (2005 model), so I'll let him have a go at it when I take it in for a transmission fluid change.
