I noticed tonight that my truck sounded funny when it was warming up. I had it running for 15 minutes or so and noticed that it sounded like it was "surging" on high idle. I went outside and you could hear the EBPV close, then open, then close, then open, etc, etc. Is this a sensor issue? The tube should be clean, it was cleaned about 6 months ago. I plan on pulling it again to check it and the sensor again. This is the first time I noticed it doing this.
Mike check the tube and sensor. Make sure that the tube dosen't have any holes in it. I'd also check the actuator arm and assembly maybe something is loose.
I had the same problem. I found that my sensor was bad and the tube was not only cracked but clogged. Change both since your in there and you will fix the issue
Just unplug it, problem fixed! Mine did the same thing when I bought it, I'm purdy sure it's normal for them to behave that way.
I dont know if unplugging it is the same as leaving it clogged but mine was clogged for 8 months and my mielage was about 10-11mpg empty. once I replaced the sensor and tube, im back up to 14-16mpg. Id leave it plugged in and unclogged if it were me
This EBV and EBPS thing comes up all the time. Get that junk off your truck, do the delete, and go to Autozone and get the Painless wiring eliminator for the EBPS and no more EBPV sticking robbing power fuel mileage no more cleaning tube, no more buying 120$ sensor's, your truck will run much better!

Well like I just said, I get 4mpg BETTER mileage having the systems working than all unplugged. Plus my sensor was only $60 or something around there.
