Line-X vs. Slide in Bed Liner

I am leaning towards the Line-X right now because I can get a deal on the liner, it look cleaner, and things will not slide around. But is there any major draw back to the spray in bed liners vs the Slide in liners? Any additional information would be great as well.

Thanks
Greg

Line-X vs. Slide in Bed Liner

in my opinion spray-in is the only way to go. slide in liners allow moisture to stay between the liner and the bed i have seen some pretty bad rust caused by this. also i really like Line-X ithink its better than most other spray ins.

Line-X vs. Slide in Bed Liner

I've got a Line-X liner in my 94 F150 LB. I really like it, nothing, and I mean nothing slides around in the bed and it wears very well. Seems to absorb shocks too when dropping stuff on the bed. I went ahead and had the bed rails done to for an extra $50. I think the total was about $438 or so and about an hour and a half to do the job.

Line-X vs. Slide in Bed Liner

Thanks for all the info. I just got the Line-X sprayed in and it looks sweeeet! I ended up paying $320 for it, and I love the non-slip grip that it has.

Line-X vs. Slide in Bed Liner

Those Slide in bed liners tend to cause more problems then they are worth. They scratch the bed up, trap dirt and water underneath, etc. I had one in my one truck about 8 years ago, i landed up taking it out 2 or 3 times a year to clean the bed off and wax the bed one time. Now if you want to use one, i highly recommend you throw a rubber bed mat underneath to limit the problem with scratching. But that trick only will work with the under the rail style.
