Well, to stay true to the never ending circus that is my life I got a rather scary call this after noon. My oldest daughter Ashley was a passenger in her cousins car when a car ran a red light and t-boned them on the passenger side. The car rolled 2 or 3 times before coming to rest in someones front yard at 63rd south and broadway. She had taken off her seat belt to put her flip flops back on and when she looked up they hit the car. She was thrown into the cargo area of the 96 Explorer she was riding in. Thank god she is ok, she got a few bumps and bruises but the doc said her and the baby will be fine. We got her home now and she is just tired and pretty sore.
I was at the house when I finally got word and lemme tell you that drive into town seemed to take hours (even at 90+). I have never been so scared in my life, all I knew is she was involved in a rollover and was rushed to the hospital. I could have very easily lost my daughter and grand baby today!
So I offer this piece of advice, tell your kids you love them, often!! you never know when something will happen, and you won't get the chance to!!!!
At first I thought this was the wreck in Viola that was on the news last night. I'm glad to hear her and the baby made it through ok. Everybody else involved ok?
Yes, I am also glad to hear she and her baby are ok. Is her cousin ok as well?
She was sore last night, but today will be worse... Ask me how I know.. or let Chad tell ya.
Really glad to hear that she and the baby are OK. It could have been much worse. She probably was helped by being in the sploder and up a little higher too. We weren't so lucky about 18 years ago when we got t-boned in an old Impala and my mother was killed. Head injuries. I'll keep her and you all in my prayers.
That is crazy, glad to hear that everyone is ok though. I know it was scary when my wife was T-boned on the driver's side when someone ran a red light. I was sitting right behind her in traffic when someone doing around 35 mph nailed her and spun her car around.
Yup, she is a little rough but ok. everyone else is ok, her cousins oldest boy got a concusion from the deal and says he can't remember much. All in all it could have been REALLY bad, but we got lucky
