CCV Mod
Have just done the ccv mod and have found at idle I get a bit of smoke not puffing just a constant stream sometimes it looks worse than others like if there is a cars headlights shining on it. Is this normal?

I have been told that they tested running it into the exhaust and it created to much back pressure. It just looks worse at night and in high humidity. it is more steam than smoke. What oil you use also changes it too. I just ran it underneath so the only time you can see it is if you look way under the truck.

Some brands of oil steam and smell more than others. I use Rotella and it seems to be one of the worst offenders. It sounds to me like your oil fumes are about typical.

Here is the set up I did it does steam but not to bad.Welcome to guzzle's CCV mod web page.the steam is norm.
I add a drain in the bottom to drain out the water that will accumulate for the steam.It works good for me .
