2005 Excursion with 6.0 engine?

I have a buddy of mine that is looking to buy a 2005 Excursion with a 6.0 Diesel engine with a little over 100,000 miles. I know the earlier 6.0 had problems is this true for the 2005 also? If so, what things should he be concerned with? I have already ordered him an Oasis report so he can check out the history of the Excursion. If I remember right the 6.0 had problems with head bolts, turbo and EGR.

I have an 05 with the 6.0 and had the turbo replaced about a year ago. The truck had 12k when the turbo got replaced. I think mine was due to lack of use. It didn't drive different but I got an error code. I took it there in the am and picked it up the same day. I think the head bolts are a V10 issue, not the diesel. I now have 20k on it and I should drive it more. I also had an oil leak under the hood from some CAC tubes. The dealer replaced the gaskets and all was well. FWIW, I love the 6.0.

Now with the new cleaner diesel fuel I don't think the turbos will be much of a problem.
