Keep blowing thermostats
I am on my fifth thermostat this year. I have not been buying the cheap ones either. Each one has been $19.50 on the bill. Not sure of the brand but I know it is a 190. Any ideas on what might be causing this? It has a new radiator, waterpump, hoses, fresh full antifreeze.

Whaddya mean 'blowin 'em? Are they sticking closed? Open? Is it overheating? Not getting heat in the cab?
I would suggest putting thermostadt in pan of water, with temp guage, and see if it works within specs.. I would also try just putting gasket on the housing without 'stadt, and see what goes on.

Is there a spring in the lower rad hose?
If not and you've replaced everything else, that would be my bet.
It warms up and once it softens it gets sucked shut by the pump at revs.
Let off the throttle and pressure expands it to normal shape.
I doubt you've purchased 5 bad thermostats.
