I'd skip the 120... i have both the 120 and 140 and tend to skip right over 120 and go for the realllll smoke.

I have N/S, stock, Hi idle 1300, lope idle, 60 tow, Decel, 80 econ., 120 race, and 140 smoke.

Thanks guys. I guess i'll have to make a call monday. I placed a web order earlier thru ITP for 80e, 60t, decel, 120 & hi idle 1100 as well as the OBA. I guess i'll have to change to the 140 & the higher RPM idle. I was gonna get the lope tune after seeing the youtube video, but I don't think i'd quite get the cool effects without the stacks.

I will be ordering a DP Tuner next week (if they were open tomorrow, I would do it then) but I have a question. I am sure Jody can answer it next week but with the no start, how exactly does that work. Other than the obvious answer, does it keep someone from hot wiring the truck I am guessing? If they have the key (somewhow), they could just change the tune out of the N/S tune....assuming they know about it.

Is everything I stated here true?

Cool, do you use it towing? I tow a 7500 lb fifth wheel, which is the main reason i want to try that tune.

There is a sequence that you push with the buttons on the switcher for the nostart. If they had the key and removed the DP then they could start the truck.

Is that only if you have it in the no start position when it is removed?

I dyno'ed my truck last year with the DP (I no longer have it -- I'm now running Tony Wildman's tunes). 80E dyno'ed at ~290/620. 120 & 140 were virtually identical at 311/681 & 309/675 respectively. I actually lost a couple HP on the 140.

No,in any position once the controller is removed it won't start, and if it happens to come loose it will shut down

Awesome, thats what I am looking for. Much of my towing in Western Pa is up & down hills, so that will work great..

Izzy. Thanks for the info. From what I am reading then, the main difference must be more fuel to start for all the smoke?

Yeah, and if you have sufficient fuel/HPOP oil volume, you will get more power in 140. BUT, it seems that the stock injectors/HPOP/turbo tops out in the 310-315 range, so the 140 won't buy you much until you back it up with further mods.

A thief would have to pull the PCM and remove the DP tuner chip from it to get around the no start feature, unless he/she knew the method for deactivating no start.
