Drowning in Fuel
This being my first Ford ever,I know nothing about. It ran just fine till my Buddy borrowed it to run a few cities over to pay some bills and pick up some liquid refreshment from across the ridge. He said He would be " an hour or so " so 7 hours later when the phone rang...I was at my witts-end with worry. About our Truck, not Him. It"s missing linkages, vacume lines, vacume pods and everything is plugged-off with sharpened Sassafrass twigs and screws that came from God only knows where ?!?
It floods like a Mountain sudden storm, fuel cascading down the entire Intake manifold, over the sides, and splashing over the exaust manifolds like a white-water rapids every time you take your foot off the gas...it literally "THROWS the Fuel into the air like Ol' Faithfull" if you take the breather off and are crazy enough to stand close enough to see it happen.
I told Him the Choke was acting funny, and how to get the Truck to fire before He left...and this is how it came back. I think the back 1/2 of the Carb. is totally gone, and there are plugged-off lines comin' outta' there as well.... devastating sight I tell ya' especially since all I know is Quadra-Junk and Thermo-Junk Carbs...
Anyone know where I can get another Carb. ?
This is a '75 Block transplanted into the '78 Ranger.
I feel like He raped my Dog...
...and I wanna hurt Him. Bad.
...but Im afraid if I turn my back to get my stick and whup Him one,He might try a "tune-up" next !!!

...so,what's missing,and how do I fix it ?
It ran just fine before this happened,so I really see no-need to replace the whole thing unless missing parts are going to become a factor in the mix...
Choke Housing Notch Setting 2 Rich
Timing 14 BTDC
RPM 650
650
650
Idle Mixture Artificial Enrichment
RPM Gain 20-60
RPM Reset 40

It's a 460 ci. Motor no brass # Plate tag on the Carb. now...just #'s on back of connected parts like vac-pods et.cetra.

What the hell is that crap? Looks like half Motorcraft 2150, half scrap carbs.
Did you friend took a frickin sawzall to the carb?
As for the gaping maw on back of the carb, it is an altitude compensator. Maybe you need it? haven't been to TN in years.
Front lower nipple - that one goes to the evap canister below the battery, assuming your truck is equipped with emissions. The upper part goes to the same evap. canister (I think, need to check mine).
One of the nipples go to the choke pulloff housing. The other is the EGR port?
I'd just buy a carb that's not all hillbillied up. That looks like it won't even run perfectly anymore.
Also buy more vacum and fuel hoses. Never let that guy near your stuff again.

In your first picture with the 2 yellow circles, the top circle is the fuel bowl vent hose. Typically this runs to your evap canister. The bottom circle is either ported vacuum or manifold vacuum. My guess because of the height on the carburetor would be manifold vacuum. Regardless, if it's not going anywhere, you need to place a vacuum cap over this.
In your second picture with the big yellow circle, it's showing your PCV line. It looks like someone tried to plug it. That needs to run to your PCV valve which is either in a grommet on one of the valve covers, or the oil fill cap. It changed over the years. The yellow arrow is pointing to the fresh air tube for the hot-air choke. There is supposed to be a metal line coming from there that somehow makes its way to the air horn of the carburetor to draw in fresh air from the air filter cavity.
That third picture is just another angle of what I said in the previous paragraph; it also looks like someone disconnected your choke pulloff. I can't tell where the other end of the line is going, so I can't tell for sure.
Honestly, that thing is a mess. You need to correct the fuel spray issue before you run the motor. It fuel is gushing from the top hose connection in your first picture, the fuel bowl is overfilling which means your needle can't seat. This usually means it's time for a carburetor rebuild. It also looks like someone hacked your throttle linkage. It looks like it's held on to the throttle shaft with a spring. That's not safe...you might pull into traffic one day, slam on the gas and the pedal does nothing.
So:
1. The carburetor needs to be rebuilt. If it's built up enough varnish to keep the needle from seating, then it's everywhere inside the carburetor. You're never going to get it to run satisfactory unless the carburetor is overhauled.
2. Cap off all open vacuum ports.
3. Reinstall your PCV system.
4. Come up with a better throttle linkage. What happened to the original?
That setup you have is not only unsafe, but harmful to your motor.
