[updated:LAST EDITED ON 14-Feb-02 AT 08:04 AM (EST)]They are not installed yet, but just recieved them yesterday. The assembly is beautiful. Its not just a bulb and ballast, it also includes the housing. Ill have it setup in a few days though.
Ill try and get some pictures up on my site tonight or the actual assemblies.
I have been considering installing a "Clear lens" kit that includes projector fog lights in the same housing as the main beams (great looking but want to see performance as I am a true lighting junkie)
My prefferance would of course be to go with a true HID system but there is that cost thing
I was referring to the HID's(I started a new thread to clear that up.) They were pretty pricey, but ive been researching them for a while now. It came down to Sylvania and Philips. Philips HID was about 800 bucks, and didnt come with a housing. I also understand the need for awesome lighting. My friends tell me i have a sickness, because of the way i switch the lights on and off my truck.... i think im sticking with the lights that are on there now though. PIAA has yet to let me down.
aren't they awesome? Had mine for about 2 weeks now... still turning them on & off... he he
what did you pay for them? I got mine from www.suvlights.com and paid $100 less than the sylvania site.
I also got some offroad HID lights... man are they bright! brighter than even the HID headlights and high beam! I was going to get the X1010 driving lights like on the picture at sylvanias site, but I wanted more light. Can't have too much light since I do a lot of offroading.
I definetly recommend suvlights.com for lighting stuff, he really knows his lights. I had the headlight wiring harness to get more light before I took the plunge and got HIDs.
