Talking FE's VS FT's

The wrist pins are the same size. I just pulled a set of rods from a 391 to use in a 360 to 390 conversion. As Krewat said 391 to 390 /361 to 360 piston swap works.

hi, i just bought a 76 f 700 with a 361, among other things it could use a tune up, of course when i say 361 at a parts store, they look at me like i have two heads, i know many parts are the same as a 360, but what about tune up parts (plugs, wires, cap and rotor) could i save myself some grief and just say its a 360? if not where could i find tune up parts? thanks

FE's VS FT's

Mattgrant the tuneup parts are basically the same , but the heavy duty trucks use a different heat range plug.
Pull a plug and get ones with the same number .
