Thanks for the bump, I'm not sure what it does, but it seems to work. I think I learned how to post and asked today, but that's even better! I don't really know what else it could be other than the injectors, but it seems like it would run worse than it does(if 3 are bad). I've been steady researching and checking what I can find, learn, or have that tools and ability to check.I'm away from home down here, so I don't have all the tools I need. I have not been to work this week, so I've been trying to educate myself(WOW the knowledge on here is overwhelming).

It's OK, I'll take help whenever I can get it! Don't have a problem bringing the truck to you. Help would be awesome, can't afford to throw parts at it till it runs right.(but who can)? Really think I have a couple bad injectors, but not sure.

It's a 99 F250 7.3 4x4 auto. In o/d when you get below 50mph, it has a Surge bucking? I think thats what they call it on here. It will shutter until you get above 50, but it you step on the gas about half throttle, it will down shift and run ok. It just seems like its down on power, bad fuel econ, miss at idle. The truck has a 4'' exhaust, 6637 filter, superchips 1705 programmer. The only code it gives is 0470. I have checked everything I can that I have the tools with me to check. Pulled the drivers valve cover and only one injector is spitting oil, not sure if that means the other three are bad? Don't know if the truck would be drivable if three injectors are out? It has run this way since I bought it. No ses lights or anthing easy like that. I hope this helps, let me know if you need anything else.
Have you tried it without the Superchip hooked up, back to stock? Is your oil full and clean? If you take it out of OD, does it to the same thing. Have you checked the trans fluid level, smell and color? These are some of the first thing to check before moving on.
Yes, it still does it without the programmer, oil and trans. level is good, had the trans. rebuid in June, but it doesn't do it with the o/d off. I don't know if it's because the speeds are slower or if its the rpm range that lets the truck lug in o/d.
I would give the tranny shop a call and see what they say. I am no tranny guy, but I think something is wrong with the OD gears, or the Torque converter wanting to lock or unlock. I really don't know. I would talk to a tranny shop if this only happens in OD.
You may want to start another thread about a possible tranny problem. More people that knows trans will chime in and help you out on this. Maybe Mark will see it and let you know what is up.
I took it back and he said it wasn't in the trans. I also read a couple other threads on here that sounded like they had the same problems(some with 6 speeds). Some said to get the computer reflashed, so I took it to the dealer and after driving around the parking lot, he said flashing it won't fix it, it has a hard miss, like an injector out or something. Never seen what the other people did to fix theirs either. I'm not against changing injectors if that's what it is but would like to know for sure. I was thinking if Roland would scan it for me, it would tell me for sure? I'm kinda new to diesels, so I guess I don't know what I got myself into. If he scans it maybe he can drive it and see what he thinks. I say it's down on power because it doesn't seem to pull any harder than a stock 7.3(maybe I'm expecting to much)? But the dealer also said it's not half the truck it should be. I'm just not sure if no oil coming out of the injectors means they're bad? Sorry, I hate to draw this out but I'm new to all of this. I've searched all over this forum, and it's great, but I'm no good on the computer, so I'm super slow at everything.
