Im looking at lifting the truck but not sure what brand to go with. I like rough country's prices but have read on here about ride suffers. Skyjacker is good stuff but kinda pricey. Any thoughts or experiences?
Looking for 4 in by the way. Anyone have pics of 4 in with 33's. i just bought tires and dont wanna waste 1000.
I am running the skyjacker 4" w/ 33's. Do you have a 250 or 350? I can maybe seee going cheaper on the 350 lift with the solid axel, but there is no way in hell I would run their cheap drop brackets on the IFS 250. Search this forum for drop brackets and you will see a couple of guys who broke one and their inability to use the bathroom for the next week.
Sorry but like epd444 siad you get what you pay for.
97 250 EC LB> heath do you have any pic of your truck you could send me/post. I'll have 33's and wanna know how it looks. they look perfect with 4in 35s but last time I checked I dont have money falling out of my a$$.
Just the small one in my avatar. If no one else gets some pics up I will snapp a few tommorrow and post. With all the salt on the roads truck hasn't been clean since I put the lift on so I haven't bothered

Been a long time since I posted...My .02...Stay away from Rough Country for this application. I have had one of their drop brackets shatter at 50 mph (the post is in here somewhere) and then with the next set one cracked when I was backing down a hill and hit the brakes (I called them and they said I was supposed to check the torque every morning before driving or something that made me feel set-up to die). I am in the process of installing a super lift 4" with the super runner steering set-up. I really like the pics you guys posted. Any thoughts of doing the steering kit?
any thoughts on super lift. looking into that. summit has 4in superlift kit in stock! what is the steering set up your talking about. never heard of it

I think he is talking about adding dampners to the steering. Does make a big difference in the ability to stay in your lane when you hit a pebble on the road.
Next for me is a set of front and rear sway bars. Now the truck sits higher it moves more than I like when i have weight on the ladder rack
