does anyone know what starter is needed for a 292 yblock I had the guy from the auto store give me one he thought was the closest one to the stock one from 60 f100 it was for a 65 tbird. I dont want to shred the starters teeth or grind the flywheel. how far should teeth interlock when the starter ingages?? he new one pops forward and the old one rachted on the flywheel.
