I was advised to post this here - I am new, well sort of, to this forum. Joined about a year ago. Anyway, my son and I are working on a 56 F100 that has a later 292 engine (possibly a 1959). Motor fell and cracked the flywheel. It has 146 teeth and uses the inertia type starter gear. The clutch has the 10" disc. What flywheel can I use to replace it? Are there different balances, or will any flywheel from a 272 or 292 work? Any help is appreciated. Anybody have one for sale or rent? dberg@nep.net
