Block Heater Cable

Block Heater Cable
This summer after hitting a deer the body shop replaced the bumper and a couple of other parts that area.
Last night I went to plug in the block heater and a lot of cable came out, not just the little piece that usually comes out.
This morning going to work my headlights on dim was really Dim.
Does anyone know what the other wires that would be in the same cable wrap as the block heater are and what would cause the headlights to go dim?

You need to trace the block heater wire from the plug all the way to the block - the cable runs through the bumper and takes various twists and turns along the way. Check for damage - they can rot out near the block connection. Order a new cable (if needed) from your IH dealer ($30), rather than Ford. I think auto parts stores may now carry (or be able to order) the cord.
The shop may have wrapped the cord around the headlight wiring during repair, but the block heater cord has nothing to do with headlight wiring.

The extra wires came from the passenger side of the bumper. They were inside the cable wrap that also included the block heater cable that goes to the driver side.
The block heater worked so the cable is good.
Are there any wires for the headlights going from the driver side to passenger side that would be routed through that area?
