I am looking at doing my injectors this spring and realy dont want to pay the rediculous amount of $ that some people want for new ones. I am looking at the stage II injectors from DIY-injectors.com and was wondering if anyone has any experience with them. Just want to get other peoples view point on doing thier own injectors before I dive in. Thanks
I've dealt with Jim Rose on non-injector issues, and from a business management standpoint, I've found him to be really good to work with. I just can't comment on the injector issues specifically. Others will.
Ask the same question down in the OBS forum (94.5 - 97 7.3 diesel) right below this one. Lot's of guys down there have used Jim's injectors and I'm sure you'll find many of them that sing his praises.
Jim also hangs out down in that forum sometimes, so don't be surprised if he responds to your thread down there.
Jim is great to work with and offers a great product and service! I had him rebuild a set AB's for me from a customers truck. He did a great job and offeres a few different options that were VERY reasonable!
That's what I'm talking about. Thanks for the input guys. I was feeling a little nervous with this guy asking for help and not getting much response. I guess most everyone was tied up with Monday stuff today.
When I changed my injectors, I was very surpised by how small the holes are for the fuel to come out of. I could hardly see them. I don't know anything about the DIY kits, but if I had to drill the holes, I would be in a bind.
