Like I said I can't belive it took me this long to do this I quess the coolant filter from dieselsite in a week or two. The wife said I could spend some more money on the million dollar truck.LOL! After I told her that I did a mod that didn't cost but a hole saw and a saw zall blade.Ive been running around and calling just to save a few bucks when I can get it sent here to the door with everything for the install!
I did the zoodad....only problem when i was heading back from picking up some blades for doing the zoodad a rock hit my ac condenser from the semi in front of me so now i get to replace that
I've had my Zoodad mod "in" for almost 3 years now. My truck is a 2006. No issues at all with it.
I do shut her down when going thru a touchless automatic car wash. I'm afraid of the direct high pressure water hit you get right at the mod.
I did put a screen in the front of mine, and I have to clean it in the summer time when the bugs start to build up on it.
That makes me feel a bit better; it is raining today and coming to work I drove through the constant spray of water kicked up by the freeway traffic. I checked the intake after I parked and it was wet in there, of course, but I never checked to see if that happened before I did the zoodad. Probably does, maybe to a lesser extent.

If it just bent the fins you can straighten them out with a special tool. I have to do mine every few years due to my aftermarket grill.
