I'm doing the mass air conversion my truck as part of an engine upgrade...I picked a babied H.O. 302 from a 95 Mustang owned by an adult Ford tech. It ran too good to pass up. I've got the basic information for doing the wiring swaps. I'm planning on using the 88-93 setup. I picked up a F3SF-12650A-BA P3M computer from a T'bird that I think will run a H.O. 302. But I believe the T'Bird was originally SD and converted to mass air. My specific question is can you look up the original application for that computer? I'm just looking to confirm if I've got the right unit, or I need to find an A9L or A9P unit.
Bill, were you drinking too much when you wrote to yourself here? Im so confused when I read this thread. Why are you writing to yourself and then asking where is yourself? ....
I did do the mass air conversion using an A9P computer I picked up on the cheap. Wasn't all that much work and runs great. I've got a full spreadsheet that maps out the conversion step by step that I'll share with folks...just PM me with your email address.
As far as the specific computers go, the P3M is a mass air computer that can be used for the conversion....just some of the pin locations are different from the A9P or A9L. I just sold the P3M on eBay for a song....somebody out there got a great deal on that one.
The spreadsheets help me map a project out and keep tabs on my progress. Jobs like the MAF conversion have a lot of steps. Its easy if you stay organized, but one little mistake can have you chasing gremlins for months. I just try to share my experiences to help make things a bit easier for other folks.

yeah, I was bidding on that computer...too bad my wife fainted at the doctors office or I would have been home in time to run up the bidding for you.
