I need some expert advice. I have a P0102 DTC, Mass air flow circuit low input code. Is this signal the power supply or computer signal or something else? I don't want to change out the MAF unless it's bad but not sure what would cause this code. Any help is greatly appreciated. Oh, btw the truck is a 97 F150, 4.2 with 200k miles on engine, 400k miles on the truck including the MAF.
You might try checking to make sure you have no leaks in the intake plenum. This may not be related though since I am not sure if the code is dependent upon the engine running or just having the ignition on.
Given the age/number of miles, I'd be sure to do a good check of the wiring and the plug that connects to the MAF.
Also, you might try removing the MAF and cleaning it with some brake cleaner or electrical contact cleaner. It might just be dirty and not repsonding as expected by the ECU.
