Just wondering if anybody had any experience with the Lund Racerback cab fairings. Im considering buying one for mine in a few months, and just want some opinions about em. Thanks!!!
I've had one on my truck for 9 years without any problems. Lund is well made. I had four off-road lights mounted and the only recommendation was a center support. If you leave it as is then no support is needed. Hope this helps.

Yup, that helps a lot. Just one question....how does it attach to the cab? Are they sheetmetal screws, or bolts? Also, hows the outward visibility? Have enough blind spots already. Install it yourself, or pay somebody to do it? Just curious, dont want to make a bad investment (fear i made one with my computer today....hate it when that happens). Thanks for any insight!
I had a friend spray it and two of us installed it. A second set of hands are needed. The rough finish on the inside surface looks fine when painted. Sheet metal screws are used to attach to the cab. After you drill your holes a little dab of paint is good and when you put the screws in put some silicon sealer on the thread so that you prevent water from getting to the metal or through the hole (also works as a thread locker). Two support bars attach to the back of the cab and side of fairing. Caps are provided to cover all the screws. Nine years and mine has not vibrated or rattled and it has been through some rough weather and driving.
As far as blind spots, either through ignorance or intimidation I've never had a problem while driving the truck. The nice part is being able to open your rear slider (if applicable) in most weather without getting wet. Good luck.
