I'm looking for info on a Racerback that does not include a spoiler.
All I'm able to pull up is the Lund racerback w/spoiler. But I've seen 'em out there without it. Does anyone know if the spoiler-less fairings were also made by Lund?
And did anyone make Racerbacks that didn't wrap around the rear edges of the cab?
Yep, Lund made them both. The one with the spoiler is called the Racerback, and the one that sits flush with the cab is called the Fastback. The Racerback attaches to the cab, and the Fastback attaches to the bed.

Thanks kd, appreciate the info. That's exactly what I was picturin'.

That fastback one that is smoother does look tons better than the other though.
Jeez, nobody seems to like those things around here.

I don't mind them, but I wouldn't put one on my truck. Especially the Racerback since that involves drilling holes in the cab.
Lund's manufacturing plant was right down the road from where I grew up, so it was very common to see their stuff all over trucks. Most of their employees had some type of accessories on their trucks. Even their demo trucks would be driving around town. These are the ones that you would see in magazines, they were usually lifted with custom paint and every accessory imaginable on them. Supposedly they gave the trucks away to employees after they were done using them for promotional purposes.
I just don't understand the infatuation with sticking add-on junk on a car/truck. Stick-on hood scoops, fender vents, light bars, that racerback fairing, spoilers, etc. just look like stuck on garbage to me. But whatever floats your boat.

Exactly, 80% of it is junk. Some of it looks good, but not much.
