I am replacing my LLS system with coilover shocks on the front and coils on the back of my 2000 Ford Expedition. So far I have removed the two front air shocks. My parts don't arrive until mid next week so I am trying to get ready for when the new parts arrive.
When I go to install the coilovers in the front, are there any tricks that I need to know about. To remove the old air shocks, I didn't need to disconnect anything. Will I need to compress the coilovers to get them isntalled? If so, how would I compress them?
I don't think I will try to do the rear. I'll probably let a mechanic tackle that part.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks.
