i know we have had this topic before, but i didnt know what to ask....I was wondering if to use it and what would the best application be to use on my truck (fuel, oil etc)
I wouldn't use it on a diesel. Stick with Hot Shot's Secret for the oil and something like Firepower 404 for the fuel if you're wanting to clean things out.
Never heard a bad word about seafoam. I have used it in my 6.0 PSD fuel tank and had a noticable increase in fuel milage. I believe the reason for the improved mileage may be to the fact it cleaned the injector spray pattern up. I don't run it on every fill up. I also have used it in my diesel tractor fuel and crankcase in the winter months, seems to improve starting in the cold weather. I have added it to the oil in the wifes car a few miles prior to an oil change to loosen up debris.---just my two cents.
I put a full dose of HSS in my last oil change. Have put on about 3500 miles since and have not noticed any change in mileage. Additionally, I have not noticed it running any quieter as some have reported. I am hoping it is lubricating the injectors as it has been advertised.

If you put it in your OIL how will it lubricate your injectors?? SEA FOAM is the best i have seen, about to start the 6.0 on it, just clocked in 26,000.
WTF is sea foam. I dont think we get all the same stuff you guys get in the states. I've never heard of hot shots or sea foam????? Do tell.
HOT SHOT'S SECRET goes into the oil and clean out the varnish build up by the oil because the injectors or oil fired under high pressure lot's of heat cause varnish.
SEA FOAM goes into the fuel to clean the injectors it also can be put into the oil before an oil change to clean the rings and other internal engine parts.
Hopefully this helps

The injectors work with high pressure oil so the HSS cleans the oil side of the injectors.
