Ccv rerout?

Ccv rerout?
what is the big advantage in doing this? I've seen a lot people talking about doing this latley and was thinking about it. But don't really know much about the ccv.

Rerouting the ccv will make for a cleaner intake. Sometimes there is a lot of oil that comes from the ccv. It is piped directly to the turbo inlet just downstream of the air filter and flows through the turbo and the intercooler. Some folks have had the oil degrade the CAC boots. When the boots get oil soaked, they can blow off.

When I did this my intake tube was lined with sticky goo. Could have been partially due to the K&N I was taking off and replacing with the stocker. Regardless you'll be better off without that stuff going thru your turbo.
