How will timing affect running ?

an idi will hold up to those speeds, now dave probly dont do it all the time but just when he wants to play, the past couple of years i got into lawn mower racing well i built a (secret weapon) stroke lawnmower motor and i would tach it and hold it wide open at 5500 rpm(engine desinged to turn 3600 rpm) at the end of that race i was almost out of oil

The reason I don't post RPM's is I know what I have in my engine.
I don't want to be responsible for someone blowing an engine because of of one of my posts.
No, it don't go up there very often, the MPG goes to the basement when it does.
I am also very aware of what it will cost if it lets loose.
Most IP's start defuelling at slightly over 3000 RPM and most older pumps have a hard time exceeding 3300 RPM.
So basically what I am saying is you are gambling with about 5,000 dollars everytime you exceed the stock RPM which redlines at 3800 RPM.
