Need tire help please!

I have a 1997 F150, all factory...I would like to know if I can put a set of 15" ford rims on this truck? Buddy wants to sell me four 31" pro comp tires on 15" ford rims...but my truck now has 16" rims on it...will the 15" rims fit?? Please help!! Thank you!!

as long as the bolt pattern is the same it will he fine what year did the 15s come off of

They came off of a 1994 F150

s is what I found 1954-1995 5x5.5 (5x139.7mm) 1996-2004 5x134mm. So no they won't work. Sorry. I would put some 265/75 16 on your truck in a good all terrain if I were you that would look good.

I was hoping that wasn't the case!! I had a deal for 4 tires and rims for $175, but they won't work!! UGH!! Thanks for the info Scotty, I really appreciate it!!
