blow bye questions?
whats normall for blow bye out of the oil fill on these trucks.i have mist that comes out when i take the cap off.i also set the cap upside down on the tube and it feel off from motor vibrations.but if you hold your hand over the tube with the cap off,you can feel little slight puffs of warm air is this normal?im just worried because when i did the 6637 mod my stock air box was letting dirt in.

Yea thats why i asked for pictures of the turbo.No reason to panic just yet!

you don't want to feel pressure comming out of the oil fill cap.

Correct way to check blowby is on a dyno then check inch of water at full load.Video like you said looks normal could check draft tube for excessive oil or take a picture of the inlet whatever!

i would take a pic but i dont have a camera.the turbo wheel had some nics here and there on it but not bad. if you hold your hand over the fill tube you can just feel some very small warm puffs,when i say very small you really have to pay attention to feel them.

reading what your saying, i'm gonna bet your fine with the blow bye you have.

on a side note, have you felt you turbo for play.

when i did the 6637 mod there was no play what so ever in all derections.i did this while the turbo was kinda warm,does it make a difference if its cold?
