This has been tried before but the state ninnies said it was illegal and discriminating.

But, I vote that anyone on welfare for longer than say a year, especially those that continue to have more kids on the public's dime, have to get their tubes tied or use those long term contraceptive injections. Or no additional benefits for every child you have once on the dole.

But like I said, this has been proposed before and it was shot down by people who felt it was unfair of society to deprive a welfare "abuser"(my opinion) of the joys of parenthood while suckling at the public t##%.

As you know California is about to have huge cutbacks on public services and employees due to lack of money. Wonder how much we spend for people who abuse the system?

Way back in the 80s my godmother said society should encourage intelligent people to produce more offspring in the hopes of bettering the world, rather than encouraging more people who would use the public dole. She said the stupid and lazy were outbreeding the useful people of society. But she was politcally incorrect way before her time.

The kids can't be blamed but the public should not be forced to pay for the stupidity of others. But then taking responsibility for one's own stupidity went out years ago.

My mother in law works in a school and she says most of the kids nowadays come from poor families.

It's not that a lot of people are poor. Most people are not poor. Because they work really hard. Our wives work, we work long hours, and do whatever we can to bring home the bacon and pay our bills. But while our wives go out and work to help us make the bills, we're putting off having our own kids. And it's the welfare bums that are having kids. Because it's become a source of income. And it's been going on for generations. The kids that grow up in these welfare households don't know any other way of life than to abuse the system.
