I hate to bring something that has probably been beat to death, but here goes. (tried searching no luck yet)
I currently have 285/75/16 on stock wheels.
I'm looking to put a 2 1/2" leveling kit (spring kit) on the truck.
Anybody have anyhard facts of what sizes tires I can get under there.
I've heard 35"s will fit, but I don't want to spent that kind of money to find out they don't.
I'm looking to do the leveling kit and wheels at the same time, however I'm having a really hard time trying to find a good selection of wheels for the super duty.
I have 305's wrapped on 20" rims. They rub a little on the bottom air dam when turning. I just measured and they sit 33"s high. Maybe when I have to get new ones I will see what the 315's look like on it.
Yeah, that looks nice. What width are those tires? I had to go with aftermarket rims. I gave my Lariat rims to my neighbor and he put them on his '01 XLT 5.4 liter gasser that's a beater. They are the nicest thing by far on his truck. Now I have to look at them across the street every day.
Looks good. Looks like somebody needs some shock boots.
Thanks man. And I chose to go without the boots. I kind of like the look of them and in the past have had the thoughts they held moisture in them.
