Green PSD badges?
A search did not yield what I was looking for....
I have a 1997 f250 psd and it is getting repainted. It is going to be the same color, dark green. I am also getting new badges for it. I think I have seen OBS green lettered PSD badges on some trucks, but I am not sure. I could not find them online. I know they make the badges in silver and I think red, but does anyone know if they make them in green? If so, where would I find them. LMC truck does not have them.
Thanks
The truck is a 1997 F-250 4x4, super cab short bed. I don't see too many of these in my area.
On Saturday, I just purchased a pretty clean 1995 F-350 4x4 5 speed SRW with a newer flatbed for $3200. Eventually, I will get this truck repainted too. I might switch the flatbed to the plow truck and get a southern bed for the truck. This truck will be A LOT less to get painted.
This does not include the price of the bed, which I bought last fall. (900.00 with tailgate)
In the end I will have close to $8000.00 in the truck, including the purchase price. The truck is mechanically sound, so it is worth it to me. It also came with professionally installed stage 1 injectors, new clutch and SMF, fuel tanks, and u-joints.
I am also doing a lot of work myself, so it may (and hopefully will) be cheaper than that. I'm painting the frame and underneath the truck. I'm also replacing the shocks, some spring hangers, and rusty bolts, and possible the leaf springs while the bed is off. I'm also wiring the clearnce lights myself. I'll let them drill them in though. I don't trust most people to do a quality job wiring.
I'll see if I can get before and after pictures.
It would be a lot cheaper if your truck does not have any rust- probably close to 1500.00.
Southern truck owners are so lucky.
I'm lucky I'm getting a $6000.00 enlistment bonus.....

I don't recall seeing them in green but check ebay, I have seen alot of different ones on there before.
