Post Best plug wires

Looking for a few opinons on sparkplug wires. I have used Accel universal fit for a while now, relatively easy to find and not too hard on the wallet. Is there a better bang for the buck? My only complaint with the Accel's is about every other time I go to pull one off, I end up leaving the boot stuck on at least one plug. Other than ensuring I have a good supply of spare wires, this sucks. Who has a better product?

The best deal are the Ford Motorsports blue 9mm wires. Custom fit, not universal, for $40 from Summit or Jeg's.

Jim's right on, Motorsport wires are about as good as you can get for that price. The absolute best on the market are the MSD Super Conductors, but dyno test after test has confirmed no measurable power difference from wire to wire. I run Motorsport wires, because they look good, and their 9mm silicone jackets can handle all the heat my headers give 'em, and all the lightning my MSD box/coil/distributor can give 'em. Besides, AutoZone will try to sell you a set of Bosch wires, which sell for $44, and they're hardly better than the $18 set that they sell. TK

Moroso Blue Max custom sets with brackets are good. Use a dielectric grease in the boot to keep them from sticking. Also use a twisting motion when pulling them off.

I've pulled the terminal ends off Accel wires using dielectric grease and the twisting motion when removing them from the plugs . I like the MSD Heli-Core wires. Not real expensive.

MSD Super Conductor wires! I bought a set for my 78 f150 4x4 400 and I've never had a boot separate from the wire (and I've really pulled hard once or twice). MSD has a dual crimp thingy for all their wires from the factory to help resolve the boot-wire separation issue. I measured the resistance for each wire and all wires were ~100 Ohms. Whether or not this actually makes a difference, who knows. Another plus of these wires if the straight boot at the plug, which gives more area to grab for removal/installation.

Do you know if the motorcraft wires for a 351 Windsor will fit a 351 modified? I called Summit to order a set of these Motorcraft wires you recommended and they said they are listed for use with the 351W but the documentation doesn't say anything about the using on a 351M, so they didn't know if they would fit for my truck.
