There's a huge group of people that do these things.. 1/5-1/4 scale engines. There was a video not that long ago that had a V-12 motor from over in Germany on it. It was truly awesome. There is or was a company in California the built the SBC engines. There are also many flatheads, and others too. There was one I saw that was a miniature blown alcohol motor, just like in the 1/4 miles dragsters.
