Highboy again..............

What years was the highboy made?
The frames on highboys are narrower than regular 78 79 arent they?

1973-1977 (before serial # Y20,001). some also consider 1967-1972, too.

yes, 34" compared to 37.5".

actually its only the rear part of the frame thats 37.5 on the 77.5-79 frames... the part under the cab is still 34" it widens just after the cab

It actually widens just before the back of the cab... I put a 2wd cab on a 74 Highboy and had to drill new cab mount holes for the rear mounts to bolt up.
